For these nails, I used Deborah Lippmann's Waking up in Vegas as the base colour. This polish is a-ma-zing. If applied properly, only a single coat is required! Plus, Lippmann polishes have the longest lasting wear I have ever encountered. Overall - a solid laquer!
I painted the bloody drips using a tiny craft paintbrush and OPI's Quarter of a Cent-Cherry - the perfect blood red! (The photograph above shows the red slightly darker than it truly is)
The nails completed the costume perfectly - we scared ourselves every time we looked in the mirror!

ReplyDeleteThanks Cat Fish!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find your dresses?
ReplyDeleteThey are nightgowns from Sears. I sewed ribbon around the edges of the sleeves and at the bottom, and tied a thick ribbon around the waist.
