HBO Girls Deborah Lippmann Hannah

The Deborah Lippmann Girls set is just so adorable and amazing. Here, I tried out the green shade - "Hannah". Side note - I absolutely love her character, but I won't get into it here. Let's just say, I can relate. Ha!

I am totally in love with this green. It's soft, dark, and dusty. Check it out!

It also goes on great, is opaque with one coat, and has a pretty solid lasting power. New fave!

Mother's Day Weekend at Holt Renfrew

What a beautiful weekend! We were very busy out and about doing manicures all weekend (more posts to come) and, as always, I thoroughly enjoyed my day spent at Holt Renfrew with all the lovely ladies who work there and who popped in.

The always awesome Deborah Lippmann product spread

Our inspiration board of nail-art ideas

Check out some of the manicures we did that day below. We love using Lippmann products!

We used On the Beach here...such a great colour for summer!

This silver version of fairy nails was done using Stardust and Today was a Fairy Tale...such a pretty ombre.

Love this modern French manicure - we used Naked and Lady is a Tramp.

This is one of my favourites...I always gravitate toward orangey-corals. It's called Girls Just Want to Have Fun.. adorable!

This modern French tip was done using Fashion and Girls Just Want to Have Fun on the tips...mixing neutrals with brights is so fun...not too "out-there" with just a tiny pop of colour.

What a beautiful weekend...the weather was perfect so we hope you got to spend some time outside! See you soon and stay tuned for more manicures from this weekend :) Pin It

Holt Renfrew Manicures

This Saturday we got to spend the day with the lovely Holt Renfrew folks and do manicures all day! It was great. We feel so lucky to be able to surround ourselves with Deborah Lippmann's amazing products and play all day long!

Plus, we were so excited to be able to experiment with her new polishes - mirrored chromes, flakies, and magnetic polishes!

These amazing mirrored chrome polishes are unbelievable - "Swagga Like Us" (a bronzey-gold with green-ish orange-ish accents), "Sugar Daddy" (a shimmer light gold) and "Private Dancer" (an incredible purple chrome.

These flakies are to die for! The pink one is called "Sweet Dreams" and the deep blue is called "Ray of Light".

Here, we opted to use Ray of Light and Sweet Dreams on her ring finger...love this accent nail manicure! It's all about the flakies, ladies!

This one is keeping it simple with Sweet Dreams...gotta love this amped up version of a bright fuchsia manicure.

Look who came to visit us! Cooper - the sweetest puppy who took a nap in his owner's purse while she got a manicure...I mean!

...and her owner got adorable accent watermelons on top of Sweet Dreams...the flakes made the watermelon look juicy! Perfect.

Look at how gorgeous Mermaid's Dream is...definitely dreamy and perfect for summer days.

I did a quick rose manicure on top of my shellac (review post to come on that soon) in between clients. Cute!

Look at how cute these pink roses look on top of Sugar Daddy...off to do some spring gardening! (Don't ruin your nails!)

It's Raining Men is such a great bright red...perfect for a fancy event or summertime sexiness.

Look at how neat the wavy magnetic polish looks...this one is Berry Metal (amethyst wave).

The always classic fuchsia Between The Sheets...such a great statement pink!

Sugar Daddy looks great on its own!

Doing the manicures was such a blast...plus, we got to play with some makeup too! We tried Bobbi Brown's eyeshadows...I tried "Bluebell" (I had to buy it!) and Kristina tried out "Ultra Violet". We were having too much fun!

I was also lucky enough that my Mum and little sister came to visit!

Overall, we had an absolutely great time (as usual). So much fun, in fact, that I will be back next Saturday (the 12th) to do manicures again!

See you all again soon!

Wedding Nails!

We had the pleasure of doing the nails of a lovely group of ladies for a wedding...including the Bride! We had so much fun and were so happy to have been included in the Bride's wedding preparations - it was so exciting to be doing their nails the night before she was getting married.

First, we popped over to do Gillian's awesome plum and silver leopard print nails to match her dress.

Then we headed over to the hotel where the bride, her wedding party, and the rest of her family were staying. We were so happy to have the opportunity to set up shop to do the Bridal party's nails. It was neat to be included in the hustle and bustle of a wedding's eve preparations (organizing food orders for the next day, hair appointments, going over the itinerary, planning the honeymoon flights, etc). We really felt like a part of the nervous excitement!

For this manicure, we used OPI's Dating a Royal with Orly's Tiara. Love it!

A dusty blue with an adorable yellow rose on the ring finger:

 A classic French manicure:

For this manicure, Chanel's Graphite was used...this polish is so awesome it doesn't even need any embellishments!

And, last but not least, the Bride's nails!

Perfect! For this manicure, we used Deborah Lippmann's Naked and Some Enchanted Evening (pink glitter) to create our fairy nails. The colour combination went with the wedding's colour scheme and is a perfect bridal manicure - understated and secretly sparkly!

What a fun time! Bridal manicures are a blast - we love to be part of the action!
